Jessica Covington

Attorney & Team Leader,
Pre-Litigation Division
Jessica Covington

Ms. Covington prides herself on aggressively fighting for her clients by focusing on the human aspects of each case. She understands that every case is about a unique individual with their own distinct experience from the moment the injury occurs, to how it has affected their everyday lives, to exactly what they need to feel whole, healthy, and happy again.

Jessica C. Covington is an Attorney and Team Leader of the Pre-Litigation Division at The Wallace Firm, PC, where she concentrates on negotiation, resolution, and file preparation of personal injury matters, including automobile accidents, premises liability, pedestrian and bicycle/scooter accidents, and dog bites. Ms. Covington specializes in reviewing matters said to have nominal or low values by insurance companies and securing five and six-figure settlements for her clients within a matter of weeks.

Having spent her entire career prior to The Wallace Firm litigating in both federal and state court, Ms. Covington views each claim as if it is going to trial, works aggressively for the absolute best result for her clients and accepts nothing less. Her favorite part of her job is fighting for and obtaining the result that her clients need and deserve before the filing of a lawsuit.

Born and raised in a suburb of Detroit, Michigan, Ms. Covington attended the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. She then traded the tundra of Michigan for the sunshine and sand of Malibu, California where she attended Pepperdine University School of Law (now Pepperdine Caruso School of Law) and was a recipient of the Diversity Scholarship, served as Note and Comment Editor for the Journal of Business, Entrepreneurship and the Law, and was Student Bar Association President.

In her free time, Ms. Covington enjoys crushing the guys in fantasy football, meeting up with friends at the gym or beach, karaoke, and staying in on Friday nights to watch true crime documentaries with her French Bulldog, Buddha and Terrier mix, Bear.

“ Success isn’t about how much money you make, it’s about the difference you make in people’s lives. ”
